Learning from History-By Willy Sansen

October 16 @ 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

The MICAS group has been known for a long tradition in the design of
analog and mixed-signal integrated circuits. Their members have been able to
bring novelty in many different applications such as communication systems,
sensor interfaces and biomedical applications. Experimental evidence has
always been added which has lead to the highest international technical
achievements.
This group has grown from one single professor in 1983 to seven
professors nowadays. This presentation tries to explain what are the pillars of
its success and what can be learned from its history.
