Behind the scenes there is a feud between ESAT and MECH since the early days. We've decided to end it on February the 19th, on which date the bravest amongst us will challenge the opponents in an epic shootout at the indoor paintball arena in Merchtem.
We're happy to announce the long awaited dropping on Friday 23th of August!
What's a dropping?
It's an evening activity where two groups of participants will be driven to an undisclosed location while blindfolded.
From that location you'll depend on your instinct to locate yourself and find your way to the given location of appointment.
Of course we'll provide some extra 'intrigue' to make this evening something you won't forget!
On Wednesday 13 March, the IEEE Student Branch Leuven organizes a whisky tasting.
This tasting is given by the Wee Dram Whisky Society, information about them can be found on their website: http://www.weedram.be/
Different sorts of whisky will be presented and valuable information will be provided by the host. Of course, each of them will be tasted, for the purpose of verifying this information. Water and bread will be provided for an optimal tasting experience.
On Wednesday 27 February at 18.00h, our second semester opening activity will start!
A bio-battery will be placed in the ESAT entrance hall, feeding a LED light.
Guess how long it will be able to feed the LED light, and win a nice prize!
Bets can be placed from Wednesday 27 February, 12.00h until Friday 1 March 12.00h, by submitting your guess in the box that will be placed next to the bio-battery. The winner will get a 6 month supply of vegetables and fruits!
