Location: ESAT room 02.58
Also this year the IEEE Student Branch Leuven organizes a Sumo Robot Competition (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B3tUA7A14Lc) in the second semester. Build, design and program your own robot in guided sessions and compete against each other to win fabulous prizes!
In the second session we will add some sensors to the sumo robot to observe the environment and detect the enemy's location. The available sensors are ultrasonic sensors, infrared distance sensors, line detection sensors (black/white).
Should you have missed the first session on the Arduino microcontroller, no problem! It's still easy to catch up. The sessions are aimed at those with little to no experience in building robots, so everyone is welcome!
Please register below so we know how many components to bring.
Total price of the sensor package is €10 (2 optical sensors + 1 distance sensor).
