Soirée Technique: European Electrical Energy Sessions

Repeats every week every Thursday until Thu Dec 08 2011.
Thursday, November 17, 2011 -
19:00 to 21:30
Thursday, November 24, 2011 -
19:00 to 21:30
Thursday, December 1, 2011 -
19:00 to 21:30
Thursday, December 8, 2011 -
19:00 to 21:30

From the 17th of November until the 8th of December, on four consecutive Thursdays, the IEEE student branch Leuven - PES SB chapter Leuven, organize a series of four "Soirées Techniques"on the future of electrical energy in Europe. The events are co-organized by the K.U.Leuven Energy Institute. The goal of these events is that we, as engineers, know more about energy than what can be read in the newspapers and get inside information by experts in the field.

Well-known experts from various companies, universities and research institutes will explain state-of-the-art and the future energy technologies and how these will form the electricity system of the future.

All lectures will take place in the department of electrical engineering (ESAT) at the K.U.Leuven and start at 19.00 (the full program can be seen below). Participation is free but you are required to register online with the form at the bottom of this page.

All presentations will be given in English.
