Aircraft design and testing protocols

Monday, August 31, 2015 - 17:00

*Announcement* Some concerns were raised about tonight's lecture. We would like to inform everyone that:

  • This is not a recruitment event or an ambassador of the US air force, but someone with an engineering background talking about her work experiences.
  • This is a technical presentation. The content of this lecture is about the engineering difficulties and solutions when designing UAV's, as well as the need and implemenation of testing procedures and protocols. This is not a lecture or debate about the ethical and/or political questions concerning the real-world use of these devices.
  • As the subject is a delicate matter, we apologize if anyone was offended by the title or inappropriate tone of the announcement.

IEEE Women in Engineering brings a guest lecture on:

Aircraft design and weapons testing protocols
