*UPDATE* Registration is closing soon, so hurry up if you want a printed copy of the presentations. If you did not register, no problem: you are still welcome to attend the symposium!
On Tuesday November 18, 2014 the seventh edition of the Micro Electronics Symposium will take place. This edition will talk about Flexible Electronics, a topic which is gaining attention thanks to the surge of smart, wearable devices. The event is organised by the IEEE Student Branch Leuven en the Leuven SSCS Chapter.
We are proud to present the following speakers:
- Kris MYNY (imec): "Digital circuit design for electronics on plastic foil"
- Mitsuhiro MURATA (Panasonic): "Amorphous Oxide Semiconductor, In-Ga-Zn-O, Conductivity Control by Hydrogen and Oxygen Diffusion"
- Bob PUERS (ESAT - KU Leuven): "The Quest for comfortable electronic implants"
- Jan VANFLETEREN (CMST - UGent): "2.5D free-form electronic circuits with stretchable interconnections and using elastic and thermoplastic polymers as circuit carriers"
Afterwards, you are invited to the reception for some drinks, snacks and discussion with the speakers and fellow attendees.
The event takes place at the department of electrical engineering of the K.U.Leuven, starting at 13.30. Everyone can attend this symposium for free, but we ask to register online if you would like a printed copy of the presentation slides.
Hope to see you there!
