The IEEE Student Branch Leuven is an organization of/for IEEE members that study at the university of Leuven, Belgium. The Student Branch consists mainly of engineering students of the senior years that specialize in electrical engineering, computer science and mechanical engineering and PhD students of these departments (about 130 IEEE members in total). Within the Benelux section, the Leuven Branch is the largest and probably most active Student Branch. IEEE stands for Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the largest engineering organization in the world. With our IEEE Student Branch, we want to promote IEEE by offering a variety of activities ranging from technical-scientific activities (seminars, company visits,...) to cultural activities (beer degustation course,...). More information about our past activities can be found on our activities page. If you want to be kept up-to-date about our future activities or want to play an active role in the Student Branch, subscribe to one of our mailing lists.
